Disaster Memorial Video from CRASH Japan

March 11 marks the first anniversary of one of Japan's worst disasters in history. For most people from outside the disaster-hit Tohoku region, memories of the tragedy are fading. But for those who lost everything, for those still dealing with dislocation and the fear of radiation, the pain has never left. The future is still very uncertain for thousands of survivors and the journey of finding healing, peace and hope has only just begun.

Created by CRASH Japan volunteer Martin Barker using photos taken by volunteers, this video slideshow documents some of the most excruciating moments of the disaster. It also shows how the body of Christ has been working hard with survivors to bring warmth and comfort. Watch the video and see how God is working in Japan as we commemorate the anniversary of this momentous event. Please continue to pray for Japan!

Dickens Christmas Carolers in Japan

The Dickens Christmas Carolers had a very special Christmas outreach December 6-19, 2011.  A wonderful team of 7 acapella singers brought joy and love to the disaster survivors in the Ishinomaki area.  Find out more on the Volunteers & Teams page.
